Many residents come to La Casa during a change. They may be finding it more difficult to keep up with household responsibilities, prepare meals, manage medications, or safely navigate daily routines on their own.
Others simply want the comfort of having support nearby while enjoying a maintenance-free lifestyle and more opportunities for social connection.
La Casa may be a good fit for older adults looking for affordable Assisted Living in Merritt Island who would benefit from help with daily activities while maintaining as much independence as possible. No two residents are exactly alike, and their care shouldn’t be either.
Every resident begins their journey at La Casa with a personalized care plan designed around their individual needs, preferences, routines, and goals. This plan helps our team understand not only the support a resident may need, but also what helps them feel comfortable, engaged, and at home.
A personalized care plan may include assistance with daily living activities, medication support, dining preferences, mobility needs, wellness goals, and participation in activities. It also helps us learn more about each resident’s interests, routines, and personal preferences so we can create a more meaningful daily experience.
Our goal is to provide the right support at the right time while helping residents maintain as much independence, choice, and dignity as possible.

For older adults, a respite stay can be an enjoyable experience filled with companionship, activities, meals, and opportunities to connect with others. Many of our guests share that they appreciate the chance to try something new, establish a routine, and enjoy the comforts of community life. Respite stays are available for a minimum of two weeks. For some families, Respite Care also provides a helpful introduction to Assisted Living before making a long-term decision.
Yes. La Casa offers a Senior Day Program for older adults who would benefit from companionship, activities, meals, and support during the day while continuing to live at home.
A Senior Day Program can be a valuable resource for families balancing caregiving responsibilities with work, appointments, family commitments, or other daily obligations. It provides older adults with a welcoming place to spend the day, participate in activities, enjoy meals, build friendships, and stay engaged.
Senior Day services are available five days a week. Our team is happy to discuss current availability and help determine whether this option may be a good fit for your family.
