Southern Life Independent Living
Freedom to Enjoy What Matters Most
Our Lake Placid Independent Living community is perfect for older adults who are ready to downsize responsibilities, but not their lifestyle. You’ll enjoy your own private suite with climate control, cable, Wi-Fi, and courtyard views, while meals, housekeeping, and maintenance are fully handled.
Stay busy or take it easy with access to fitness classes, educational programming, a cozy library, and transportation to local shops, events, and appointments. Your time is yours again, with the peace of knowing support is close by if ever needed.
Southern Life Memory Care
Specialized Care for Mind and Spirit
Designed with safety, dignity, and connection in mind, our Lake Placid Memory Care program supports individuals living with Alzheimer’s and related dementias. In this nurturing environment with 20 secured memory care apartments, our residents benefit from structured routines, enriching cognitive and sensory activities, and staff trained in person-centered dementia care.
With on-site physician services and spaces designed to reduce confusion and promote calm, families can feel confident their loved one is supported at every step of their journey.
Senior Day Program
Stay Connected Without Staying Overnight
Our Senior Day Program offers a positive, engaging daytime experience for older adults who benefit from social connection and light care. Participants enjoy meals, group activities, and time with peers in a safe, structured setting while still returning home each evening.
Available five days a week, this flexible option supports family caregivers and allows participants to maintain routines, explore new interests, and build community in a welcoming environment.
