VA Aid & Attendance Benefit
Many Veterans and their spouses are unaware that they may qualify for financial support through the Department of Veterans Affairs. One of the most valuable programs is the Aid and Attendance benefit, which helps cover the cost of care for those who need assistance with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, or eating.
To be eligible, the Veteran must:
- Be 65 years or older
- Have served at least 90 consecutive days in the military, with at least one day during an active wartime period
- Have a discharge status other than dishonorable
- Meet specific financial criteria
Veterans do not need to have served overseas to qualify. In addition, surviving spouses may be eligible if they were married to the Veteran at the time of their passing.
Innovation Senior Living partners with a dedicated consulting service that can help you determine eligibility, prepare the necessary documentation, and submit your application for benefits. This is one way we support Florida senior living residents in finding peace of mind without financial strain.

Long Term Care Medicaid
Finding attainable or affordable senior living is one of the most common concerns for families. For individuals with limited income or assets, Medicaid Long Term Care programs can help offset the cost of assisted living services.
This program is intended for older adults who require daily support and need additional financial support to pay for their care. While not all communities accept Medicaid, Innovation Senior Living works closely with experienced Medicaid consultants who can help determine if this path is right for you and guide you through every step of the process if you are eligible.
